iPhone 6s won't charge

Hi - my iPhone 6s won't charge up. Whe I connect to a charger, I get the correct charging icon but no matter how long i leave it, it won't charge enough to switch on.

I have tried removig fluff from the port andusing a different charger and cable ut this makes no difference.

The obvious ansewr is that the battery has failed - but it was only replaced 18 months ago or so (by Apple). Should a battery fail this soon?

Any other ideas?

Check battery health % in Settings, Battery. 80% is the trigger level for replacement and 18 months would not be unusual.

Take look at the article below with some troubleshooting steps to help with what you've been experiencing.
