Hi I’ve just purchased a new iPhone 11. I’m wondering if I get a free one year trial for Apple TV with my purchase?

I believe this is still the case. The offer details are still on their site: https://www.apple.com/promo/pdf/EN_US_ATV+_Promo_TandCs.pdf

And other companies (Apple Authorized Resellers) are still advertising this. To get the offer on your new iPhone 11 make sure you do the following:

Turn on your new iPhone and sign in with your Apple ID.
Open the Apple TV app. Make sure your device is running the latest version of iOS. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204204
The offer should appear immediately after you launch the Apple TV app. If not, scroll down in Watch Now until the offer appears.
