MacBook won’t connect to any WiFi network or hotspot

My MacBook Pro 2019 refuses to connect to any WiFi or hotspots. It’s the only one of my products that can’t connect and even when I turn off my other devices it refuses to join any network no matter where I have the hot spot or router. It won’t even join to larger public routers like at a school or business.

Hello Silentphantomgal,

We understand that you're having trouble getting your Mac to connect to Wi-Fi or Personal Hotspots, and we'd love to help out.

Just to confirm, are you using these steps to connect to a Wi-Fi network? Manage the Wi-Fi connection on your Mac

If you are using the steps in the above link to try connecting to a Wi-Fi network, do you ever see an error message when you attempt to connect? If you do, what does the error say?

To help narrow this down further, would you mind also confirming which macOS version your device is running? Here's how to check: Find out which macOS your Mac is using

In the meantime, this page has some information that can help with Wi-Fi connection issues: If your Mac doesn't connect to the Internet over Wi-Fi

Thanks!
