I need to connect my thunderbolt display with mag safe power connection to my 2019 MacBook pro. Is there a mag safe to USB-C adapter?

No, you will need to charge your Mac with its own USB-C power adapter and cord.

That connector was designed to charge portable Macs that used a MagSafe connector. It was a nice idea at the time.
