There used to be an option on the safari share function (icon that looks like download) to add a bookmark to the home screen. On my iphone8 (os 13.6.1) this option is missing. I have looked through the settings and cannot find an option to turn it on. My home screen is not full.
Has this feature been removed? Is there a way to turn it on again? I find it very useful.

If you hit the share icon on a webpage, it will show you recent contacts, and apps. If you swipe up from that screen (swipe up on the options - not on the webpage), you will see a few more options (shown below). Among these options should be the "Add to Home Screen" feature you are looking for. It seems they didn't remove it, they just hid it.

when I click on the share button in safari i got a list of people
and then some icons for apps and then
copy
Add to reading list
add bookmark
add to favourites
find on page
add to home screen
when I click add to home screen you can make a shortcut as icon on my homescreen

Glad I could help. Not sure how these boards work, but make sure you have the right solution highlighted. Rudegar never mentioned swiping up. I suppose they could edit their post and include that tidbit, I’m not here for credit or anything - just asking in case someone has the same question.
