change carriers

I purchased an iPhone 11 AT&T phone from Apple this year. I have transitioned to a new job that assists with phone coverage but does not give you a new phone. There is more asssistance for Verizon coverage. Is it possible to change carriers - I assume I would have to turn the phone in ? TY!

Unless you bought it using AT&Ts installment plan, the iPhone is unlocked and should be directly usable with Verizon. You should not need to turn it in.

You would just need to get Verizon to port over your number from AT&T and pay them for service now instead of AT&T.
