So I setup family sharing where each of my kids have their own apple ID. We also have a shared calendar. If I enter an item in the calendar they both can see it, but if either of them enters a new calendar event on the shared family calendar it doesn't appear on the the rest of our calendars. I would assume there is a setup issue on my kids phones but I have looked and looked and can't figure out what setting isn't right. Hoping someone can help me.

We understand that you're able to post to the shared calendar but your kids' devices are not able to. We'll be happy to help with this.
The main thing to check is to ensure the correct calendar is selected. We can check this via the default calendar option. Go to: Settings > Calendar > Default Calendar, and ensure the Family Sharing calendar is selected.
Alternatively, you can adjust this each time you create an event in the Calendar app. After tapping the plus sign to create an event, tap on 'Calendar' to adjust where it saves.
If it's still not working, let's test to make sure their accounts are not the issue. We can do this from a computer using the iCloud website: iCloud
From there, sign in to their account and use the Calendar section to create a new event in the Family Sharing account. Does that share as expected?
