My 2020 mac has terrible FPS for Gaming

I recently just bought a new 2020 Mac with an i7 CPU, 512gb of SSD, an AMD Radeon 5500 XT, and 8gb of RAM. I run windows on it through bootcamp to play Minecraft and I get around 38 FPS and it just feels choppy. For the specs of my computer, I was really expecting it to perform better especially since it cost me around $2300. It feels like even my iphone runs Minecraft better than my computer at this point. I downloaded the latest AMD Radeon drivers from bootcampdrivers, but my mac still runs Minecraft terribly. Is there something wrong with my mac? Is it defective? I really don't think that my mac should be running Minecraft so terribly considering the specs it has. Can someone please help me fix my FPS :(

sorry, I know this is a late response. Maybe you shouldn’t play Minecraft on boot camp. Just run it on regular I Mac, OS. My son and I play Minecraft on our 2019 I Mac 27 inch fusion and it’s really nice. Display is beautiful and not choppy at all. Give it a try.

Does Mindcraft require NVIDIA GPUs, or specifically state that it supports AMD GPU, and in particular the 5500XT? There is no means to make Windows 10 on the Mac Boot Camp run Mindcraft faster.

Maybe he is using an accessories like Razer that is not compatible with Mac OS (Synapse 3). That is my issue also, I can't install the Synapse 3 in Mac OS that is why I tried to use the Bootcamp but same with him, I got low FPS. Just my 2 cents..
