iPad and text messages

I changed my password and now my text messages are not coming on my iPad. Only on my phone. I’ve updated it on both turned them both off & on several times and still nothing

Make sure iPhone and iPad uses the same Apple ID and password.

Did you also check on iPhone?

Settings > Messages > Text Message Forwarding > is your iPad listed?
