Apple Feedback Assistant for macOS: Reminder about your feedback

Is it official?:

Apparently I gave some feedback a while back, and got a reply back. I don’t recall receiving such an eMail in the past when it comes to providing feedback, and I’m suspicious about the buttons it has on the bottom. Any thoughts on its officialness would be great. Thank you.

On the bottom it suspiciously reads:

  • Is this real?
  • Is this a scam?
  • Thank you!

As I said, the two processes are completely different and, the built in feedback assistant is installed during the beta install. It goes to a different department at Apple and it sometimes takes up to 2 years or longer for them to respond depending on how busy they are. That process is also the one that assigns feedback case numbers.

So, the result is: it is part of your beta installation and therefore cannot be discussed here - I'm sure you are aware of the terms/rules regarding betas.
