I bought this phone from a girl and guy off of let go. it seemed to work fine it just said on the screen "connect to iTunes before activation" being as I've been an android guy the past several years I thought nothing of it. turns out the phone had lost my iPhone activated 2 years ago and I can't contact the previous owner. HELP???

There is no help available to you, you have run into Activation Lock on a most likely stolen iPhone. Report the couple to the police.

In other words, the phone you bought was stolen. Get your money back. If you can't do that, turn it over to the police along with all the information you have on the thieves who sold it to you.
