My mom don’t remember making a password to open her brand new MacBook Air 13” 2020 is there a way to restore to the set up screen

When having issues logging in to the Mac, we'd start here: Change or reset the password of a macOS user account If she set up her Apple ID with the new Mac, she could use her Apple ID to reset the password as instructed in that link.
