Still no way to sync Apple Watch with activity app in iPhone after reboots

Apple Watch exercise activities are still not syncing with the Activity app on the iPhone and related apps which use the apple health data. Doing the resets mentioned in other places does not solve the problem. Can someone please post a response as to why this is occurring and how to fix it?
