I am getting several text messages each day from unsolicited sales people. I set the option to block test messages from unknown sources and it is not working. any suggestions?
If they're coming from email addresses rather that phone numbers, AT&T can block all SMS messages originating from email at their gateway.
Check with your cell service provider to see what tools they provide to block these.
That only blocks iMessages. It does not block SMS or MMS messages.
Phone company (AT&T) has no blocking services to prevent this from happening. I just got off the phone with them.
I turned o the option to block text messages from unknown senders but I am still getting several test messages daily from unknown senders trying to sell something.
