My camera icon does not come up when I open a new Note to scan.
I have an XR. I’m trying to scan a document in Notes. I opened a new Note to scan the document but the camera icon does not appear. Do I need to download an app?

It looks like you're having an issue attempting to scan documents with the Notes app on your iPhone. We can understand wanting to get that resolved. We want to help.
First, we'd recommend reviewing the information in this article: How to scan documents on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch using the Notes app. When you open the new note, do you see a + in the lower right? If so, tap that and you should see the Camera icon and a few others.
If you're still not seeing the scan option in Notes, we'd first recommend restarting your iPhone to see if that helps. This article explains how: Restart your iPhone
