Wanting to scan a document in notes. There is no camera or scan button under my notes. A friend showed me theirs and mine doesn’t have that.

Hi:
Simply start a new note.
Then click the camera in the note window; it’ll then pop-up a couple of options; including “scan document.”
Have you also updated your Notes app and are you keeping your notes in iCloud?
What version of iOS are you on ( Setting app > General > About)?
That’s indeed interesting.
Can you even create ANY note at all?
I ask because the “create” button at lower-right appears to grayed-out.
Can you possibly attach a screen shot of what to DO see while creating a new note.

it wasn’t clear that you were in either the “Create new” or “Edit existing” mode of Notes ... vice the “Notes Listing” window.
Def an interesting issue.
I’ve checked all my colleages phones and they all display as expected.
Wish I had more to offer other than to suggest opening a support ticket w/ Apple.
