How do I disable predictive text for external keyboard but keep enabled for on-screen keyboard?

I don't have any need for the predictive text / QuickType suggestions when I use my external keyboard, but I do find the feature useful when I switch to the on-screen keyboard? Is there a way I can disable predictive text for the external keyboard while keeping it enabled for the on-screen keyboard so I don't have to change the setting each time I switch between keyboard options?
