I am unable to air print to my Brother HL-L2380DW can anyone help

The HL-L2380DW is an AirPrint printer, so it should be possible to print from the iPhone 8 Plus.

In this case, check the printer setup and the wireless connection to the phone.

Why is that? The printer is an AirPrint printer, and in that capacity alone compatible with macOS 10.15 Catalina. Furthermore, according to the Brother web page at https://support.brother.com/g/b/oslist.aspx?c=us_ot&lang=en&prod=hll2380dw_us_as, macOS 10.15 is a supported system.
