Air play from Mac to Samsung TV does not work, ok when using iPhone

I've tried to use Air Play in my Mac to use Samsung TV as a bigger screen. It looks like Mac and Samsung find each other (asks password), but after a while connection goes away and Mac never shows up in Samsung.

When using my iPhone Air Play works fine with the same TV. Somehow I expect that the problem is in Mac's system preferences, access rights but I've not find the right parameter.

Actually, the problem was in "Security & Privacy" and Firewall -> Firewall options. Changed "AirPlayXPCHelper" and "AV Stream for LG & Samsung TV" to "Allow incoming conections".

Hello petri241,

We see that while trying to AirPlay your content on your Mac to your smart TV eventually the connection goes away and the Mac does not show up on the Samsung TV to connect to. Having uninterrupted playback is essential when you're trying to view something on a bigger screen. You've come to the right place for help.

Let's check out the resource below:

If AirPlay or screen mirroring isn't working on your device

Be sure to pay attention to the details listed below "If your content gets interrupted or your network lags."

We hope this allows you to AirPlay without interruption. Take care!
