Help I deleted something I need.

Is there any way to recover files that have been permanently removed from the trash??

iMac 27″ 5K, macOS 10.13

Realistically, only from a Time Machine Restore, or if the file were duplicated on another storage medium. There is expensive data recovery software, where its ability to do so would depend on your immediately ceasing use of the Mac, and attempting recovery right away. Otherwise, the probability of success dwindles rapidly.
