FCPX crashed on start after update to 10.4.9

Motion stopped starting too.

Compressor is working properly.


I deleted preferences - it did not help.

  • MacOS Catalina 10.15.6 / MacBook Pro Retina, Mid 2014

YES!!!

I solved this problem.


In TERMINAL:

brew install openssl

Then

cd /usr/local/lib
sudo ln -s /usr/local/opt/openssl/lib/libssl.dylib libssl.dylib
sudo ln -s /usr/local/opt/openssl/lib/libcrypto.dylib libcrypto.dylib


And FCPX started!

I reset preferences - it did't help me.


I tried to run FCPX using the Terminal:


PGLMasterCGLPixelFormat(): Framebuffer is 8 bit

PGLMasterCGLPixelFormat(): Successfully allocated an 8 bit pixel format

PGLMasterCGLPixelFormat() -- CGL reports there are 1 virtual screens for this CGLChoosePixelFormat
