email envelope icon

Trying to help my sister who does not have the tiny envelope icon on her iphone. She has an email address. Trying to figure out how to put the tiny envelope in the line at the bottom of her phone.

Hello Jgoujgou,

We understand that you are having an issue with locating the Apple Mail app. We'd love to help. If you slide your finger down on your home screen to open the search bar, then search for the Mail app, does it locate it on the phone? If not, if you open the App Store and search for the app, does it pull it up and show the 'open' option?

We're glad to hear she was able to get the Mail app back on her device. If she is unable to send emails, then please have her complete the steps listed here: If you can’t send email on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Thank you...trying to help my sister remotely...got the mail icon and added her email successfully. She can receive e-mail from me but can’t send an email to me. Not sure if outgoing is working.

any thoughts on what might be wrong on the outgoing side?

I the previous help on getting mail envelope was solved.

trying to help my sister remotely...

she can receive an email From me but her email To me doesn’t go through.

she is very new to iPhone.
