Power Cord

Hello. I just got a new macbook pro and the powercord didnt' come with the extension that my previous laptops came with. Can I use an old extension with the new cord?

Power Adapter Extension Cable I'm in the process of replacing my 2010 MacBook Pro with a 2019 MacBook Pro. Wondering if I have to purchase a new power adaptor extension cable because of the difference in power adaptors between the two machines, or if the extension cable I have for the old machine is sufficient.

Adapter extension cord I still have my old adapter extension cord in good condition from my 2009 Macbook and I just got a 2019 16 in. Macbook Pro. I want to know if the old extension cord is safe to use with the new style of adapter for the Macbook Pro or if I have to buy a new one. I don't know what the wattage for either extension cord is.

Apple stopped including them a few years ago, they sell them separately for $20.
