Contacts gets deleted automatically

What account are these contacts stored in? iCloud? Google? Yahoo? Are you sharing an Apple ID with anyone?

You should select whichever service you prefer in Settings>Contacts>Default Account.

when i go to setting- contacts then 3 options coming

1. Gmail
2. icloud
3. mycompany email

i have tried selecting all one by one but this problem persists, yes my father is having same apple ID in his iphone from past 2 years and he only picks and cancel the calls, he does not know how to delete or add the contacts in his iphone.

Start by getting your father his own Apple ID. You can still share content using Family Sharing.
