how do I change the Mac menu bar color?

I know the new MacOS is coming soon, but I wondered if in 2020 we can already change the colour of the menu bar at the top?


It's grey for me. Can it just go black with white text?

Also look at System Preferences > Accessibility and select "Display" from the left pane. Selecting "Increase contrast" will give black text on a white background:



Note the menubar in the above screenshot--much closer to white than the default below.
