Apple wallet not showing pass when double clicking

HI,

I've noticed recently that whenever I double click the side button on my iPhone it brings up the wallet but doesn't show a pass I've just added. However the pass still shows up if I open the wallet app, along with some older expired passes. I can't figure out if this is the way it functions now, because I'm pretty sure double clicking the side button is meant to show all cards and passes.

Any help would be appreciated.
