Apple TV app quit working

apple tv won’t play any videos and states to check internet connection. But I have a great signal. I have rest my Roku and my app, and even tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it, but no go. Both me and my wife have separate accounts but neither work. It quit in a middle of a movie and won’t restart. I have tried everything I have seen on the internet but nothing works.
