Prevent Autorotate in iPadOS

With my iPad Pro in landscape, Instagram (and others) automatically rotates to the portrait mode, regardless of of the AutoRotate setting. Makes the attached keyboard impossible to use without severe neck-ache.

apps that will not rotate Is there a way to force-rotate portrait-mode-only apps? Those who mount iPad in a keyboard which is a landscape-mode find those 90 degree-off apps to be useless. Instagram is a notable offender. I just delete apps like that. Since the app-developers haven't provided this why doesn't Apple do it with dark side panels? Or is there already a way to force this?

That's an issue you'll need to reach out to Instagram and any other 3rd party app which isn't coded to rotate. Apple has nothing to do with this. It's literally up to app developer to code rotation.
