LG Ultrafine 4k display not working

I just bought a new LG Ultrafine 4k monitor for my MacBook today. When I connect it to my Mac, it does work and everything is fine. But about 40 minutes later, when I try to use my display again, it just shows black screen, it does charge my phone, and you can feel it's warm, but it just doesn't charge my Mac and show anything on display anymore. Please can someone help me with this problem?

If we understand correctly, you were able to get it to work at first, and you can tell that there is power to your display but now there is no picture. Do we have that right?

If you’re still having issues after ensuring that you’re using the correct cables, all of your software and firmware are updated for both your MacBook and the LG display, and you’ve confirmed that your MacBook meets the requirements let us know which MacBook you're using and the macOS version.
