FaceTime vs. Regular iPhone 5c Calls
I used FaceTime for the first time on my iPad today and now I cannot make or receive regular calls on my iPhone. There has to be a connection here. Why did this happen and what is the fix?

In all likelihood, there is no connection. On your iPhone, do you still see your carrier's name and antenna bars at the top of your screen? Exactly what happens when you try to place or receive a call?
FaceTime using your iPad has nothing to do with you old iPhone 5c.
iPad FaceTime uses Wi-Fi.
Phone regular calls use the voice line not Wi-Fi.
Are you seeing anything in the top left corner? A "No SIM" indication? Or an airplane icon (Hope, hope.)?
Thanks for your response. The carrier's name (at&t) is not showing and neither are the antenna bars. When I try to place or receive a regular call I get a message that says "Call Failed." If I use FaceTime the call seems to go through. As I said before, this started right after I used FaceTime on my iPad yesterday. What's the solution?
Thanks for the info. So what is the fix for my iPhone 5c and why did this happen right after I used FaceTime on my iPad? My old iPhone was working fine before the FaceTime session on my iPad.
