Does adding another person to Face ID on my iPad allow them to access my iPhone?

I’ve bought an iPad, logged in with my Apple ID, and added my girlfriend’s face on Face ID so she can unlock and use the iPad. However I’m wondering, as a lot of things are synced between the two devices, does that mean that my girlfriend can now pick up my iphone and use Face ID to access it? Or are the Face ID settings distinct for each device?

thanks for the help! It’s not that I don’t trust my girlfriend by the way, it’s just nice to have at least _some_ privacy 😂

Face ID is per device.

So no, it does not give her access to your iPhone.
