iPhone is locked with previous owner's Apple ID

Hello,

I have an issue with another Apple ID. I was provided with new iphone 11 which was bought for our company but I can't use it due to it's logged in by my previous colleague which were fired.

The phone was used with my colleague now she is fired and she hasn't managed to log out from her apple ID. Apple ID was linked to her own phone number to which we don't have access now and we can't get in touch with her. I have managed several times to contact your support team and made request for forgotten apple ID. Last request was made by me 4 days ago and I was instructed that till 28.08.2020 I will receive by my phone number instruction for further actions in order to log out from colleagues Iphone 11, but so far I have received nothing. and help me to solve this issue. Maybe I can send you some witnessing documents that this iphone was bought to our company and which could speed up solving this issue.

Awaiting your feedback!

If your company directly purchased this iPhone 11 for the former (fired) collegue the people who handle that in the purchase or accounting department should be able to provide an invoice from an Apple Authorized Reseller or Distributor that they got the iPhone 11 from (if we're talking a larger a company).

This would be provided direct to Apple support.

If it was purchased individually through a retail outlet or mobile carrier, then you would need to get the company to dig out a copy of the receipt from that regular retail purchase.

However, if the former employee purchased it themselves, and was using their own personal Apple ID (not one created by the company through Apple Business Manager or a Mobile Device Management solution) and that employee never provided a copy of the receipt to the company then it cannot be Activation Unlocked by Apple as you won't have the required proof of purchase and your company will have to purchase you a new iPhone and recycle the old iPhone 11.
