I cannot connect to BBB Sounds app on iPhone 11, have deleted and reinstalled app, updated IOS to 13.6.1 but just sits there with a spinning red line around the play button. Any ideas ??

BBC Sound is not an Apple product. Contact the app developer here --> App Support
BBC sport, iPlayer, and Sounds have all stopped working. News still working and all other Apps working Prime Netflix Ordnance survey etc etc
Has any one found a solution.
Tuned phone on and off multiple times.
I’ve updated to IOS 14.01.
Deleted and reinstalled all Apps.
Couldn’t refresh App Store.
Reset Network settings.
Tried a different WiFi network.
BBC blame the phone
Apple blame the BBC

I download programmes to play when I'm out and I've been using BBC Sounds app since it was launched with no problem, until this morning when I had exactly the same problem. This afternoon it started to work again. No idea why!
