Keychain Passwords Migration

I use iCloud Keychain for storing my website login credentials and I have Keychain turned on in iCloud preferences on all my devices. If I get a new Mac and DO NOT use Migration Assistant or Time Machine when I set it up (it will be configured as a new Mac), will my passwords be synched from iCloud to the new Mac when I add my AppleID to it?

Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities! We understand that you are looking to learn some information about iCloud Keychain. Let’s take a look and see what we can do. We're happy to help!

If you have iCloud Keychain turned on then signing just into your Apple ID without performing a data migration will move over your passwords. You can verify that your passwords are syncing on each device using iCloud Keychain by checking this resource that we were able to gather.

Set up iCloud Keychain

You can also manually add or remove passwords from iCloud Keychain. To manually add a password, tap the add button , then enter the website and password information. To delete a password, tap Edit. Then select a website and tap Delete.

As per this article https://support.apple.com/en-in/guide/keychain-access/kyca1121/mac

Note: You can’t copy passwords stored in your iCloud keychain. To transfer these keychain items to another computer, set up iCloud keychain on the other computer using your iCloud username and password.

Note : the system files differ with individual Mac , may be the versions are same and same models are used .
