on iMac Keychain Access synch Default Login and iCloud Keychains

Keychain Access on my iMac has 2 default keychains: login and iCloud that are different.

Why?

How can I synch them? Or can I?

If not, why worry?

iCloud Keychain Won't Sync to High Sierra Mac I have a few iphones, a bunch of Macs, all on my iCloud account. Some newer, some older. I just put a new 2009 iMac 10.13 in service. It's an excellent email and web machine. Except..... I cannot get the iCloud Keychain and my Safari passwords to sync to it! I've rebooted countless times. I've logged out of iCloud and logged back in countless times. While logged in to iCloud, I've flicked the checkbox specifically for Keychain on and off. But no matter what I do, I get no passwords. The Mac is on the latest version of High Sierra with all updates run. It is otherwise an impressively capable machine for something so old. But this one bug is killing me!

Would like to delete or move keychain item to iCloud keychain Hello, I have an item in login keychain on one mac and would like to have a keychain item in my iCloud keychain for use by my 2 macs. The item is on the login keychain of one mac and I can not export it (that selection is grayed-out), I cannot move it by drag&drop, and trying to delete it also does not work (r-click then select delete-it) does nothing. iCloud is the items synch'd between devices on iCloud.

I don't know if you can sync them or if it would be wanted. I do know I have some passwords that don't get sync'd to other devices, but I have never attempted to get those onto iCloud.

I understand the difference, but want to share passwords among all my devices through iCloud. How do I ensure they are shared?
