Apple Watch Series 3 says Activity Loading and cannot fix.

My Apple Watch series 3 screen says Activity Loading and I cannot seem to get the activity to work. It stopped yesterday in the middle of my workout. I charged it all night and today it still says the same thing. I turned both it and my phone off and back on. I've reset it. I have turned on and off various apps on the watch. I do not know what to do to fix this and with a google search I was unable to find a fix. Please help! Thanks!
