I follow the Apple support advice on how to turn off private browsing mode in Safari. However when I open Safari, private browsing mode is still enable and I’m not able to log on to the webpages I want to reach. What’s going on?

hi follow the Apple Support advice on how to turn off private browsing mode in safari on my seventh generation iPad. However, when I close Safari and re-launch it it is still in private browsing mode. I cannot get private browsing mode to turn off on this particular iPad running the latest version of iOS. Something is not working correctly with your iOS and your iPad and Apple IDs and I cannot get it to work correctly nor can I get anyone to give me any advice in anyway that makes it work AS ADVERTISED.

so what does the community suggest I do now?

Something to try.

Try double clicking the Home button or swipe up from the bottom of the screen and swipe Safari upwards. Go to Settings/Safari and clear History and Website Data. Open Safari and test.

Safari website data on your iPhone or iPad - How to clear.

Then turn it off again if necessary.
