iPad can’t pin tabs in Safari

I can no longer pin a tab on safari after updating to iPadOs16. If i remember correctly, there use to be an option to once i held the link down in the search bar. Any fixes for this?

To pin a Safari tab, long-touch the TAB that you wish to pin; the long touch will expose an Action Menu.


From the menu, select Pin Tab:
