iMovie export

I’m trying to save or export a fairly large iMovie project (17 minutes long) and it is telling me my storage is full. I have a 64gb iPhone 11 Pro my storage is only at 27.5GB out of 64. What gives??

Imovie Download Hello. I am trying to save my Imovie that I made on my phone to my photos so then I can download it to my computer. IT says there is not enough space on my phone to download my movie. I deleted a bunch of apps to get the space I needed and it still wouldn't save. It is about 50 min of video so about 6.2GB is needed and it says I have 4.5 available. When I go to my storage alot of space is being taken up by my photos which I should have stored in the cloud. My question is why are my photos taking up all the space on my phone if I have paid for cloud storage? And how do I get around this so I can download my movie then delete the videos from my phone. THanks!

I Movie file very large I shot some videos on my iPhone XR with the record video at 4K at 30fps. I uploaded them to IMovie and made a continuous video out of them. When I went to export the file size for the 1080 format is 7.7GB for a 50 minute video. This will be for an online course I'm creating. I've never done this before and this is my first time really using IMovie. I'm wondering if this file is too large for an online course that people will need to access to watch and if so what I should do about it. Also, if I export this file to an external hard drive, can I delete it from IMovie to make room for other online class projects? Thanks so much!
