I needed more storage on iPhone so I subscribed to iCloud and uploaded all my photos, my iPhone shows more than 20GB freed up yet when I try to save a video from iMovie, a note pops up saying I don’t have enough storage!

However, how large is your movie? It might be approaching 20 GB, in which case the "not enough available storage" message would pop up since you only have 20 GB of available storage. In other words, the movie might be too big for your available storage.

The message says "about 2.6", so that's strange if you have 20 left.

Saved it as a file, accessed it on iPad and uploaded to YouTube.🤷♀️
It might mean that you need 2.6 GB additional space, i.e, in addition to the movie.
