Multiple calls regarding my iCloud account being accessed

Does Apple call you repeatedly to tell you that your iCloud account has been accessed? The man I spoke to asked if I had travelled overseas lately to Turkey, Romania, or Russia. I quickly became suspicious and said I was going into the Apple Store to address it. He didn’t say much, then said goodbye. I changed my password. Does anyone know if this is a scam? I received about 6 calls.

Apple does not make such calls.

All such calls are scams from criminals attempting to steal your personal and financial information. The callers will often use number spoofing to pretend they are calling from a legitimate business. The correct course of action is to hang up on them, repeatedly if needed.
