Question about AppleCare+

I am considering getting AppleCare+ for my new MacBook Pro, 4 thunderbolt model.

I know that humidity, and other external conditions can set off the liquid indicators, without there being any water damage.

My question is, if those were to activate (turned pink), with no liquid damage present, would that void any AppleCare+ warranty service?

I ask because I am hesitant to pay $300 if the service can be voided simply because the indicators turn pink due to humidity, without any liquid damage present.

Thanks.

AppleCare+ includes two incidents for "Accidental Damage" which includes liquid damage. If a liquid sensor is tripped, then Apple considers the device has liquid damage even if there are no other signs. This is the whole purpose of the liquid sensors. Keep in mind that Apple does post operating specs which include temperature & humidity levels for using Apple products as mentioned on the product page:

https://www.apple.com/macbook-pro-13/specs/

Operating Requirements
Line voltage: 100V to 240V AC

Frequency: 50Hz to 60Hz
Operating temperature: 50° to 95° F (10° to 35° C)
Storage temperature: −13° to 113° F (−25° to 45° C)
Relative humidity: 0% to 90% noncondensing
Operating altitude: tested up to 10,000 feet
Maximum storage altitude: 15,000 feet
Maximum shipping altitude: 35,000 feet

Keep in mind if you do have "Accidental Damage" you will still need to pay for the repair although at a reduced cost. See the bottom of this Apple article for costs you will pay if Apple determines "Accidental Damage" exists and you have AppleCare+:
