Sorry, but I'm not sure what exactly you are trying to do.

Is it:

• Add your email account to the Mail app so that you can access your email messages?
• Change your Apple ID to your email address?
• Something else?

If you make an AppleID using that email address, and use that AppleID to sign into iCloud, then it will be linked.
