Staingate victim - Retina Display problems

Hi it has been a while since my retina display got a stain problem. Now that I am quarantined I can spend some time seeing what Apple can do.

In 2017, Apple knowing that it is a manufacturer defect offered to fix the screens and change it for a "stain free" screen under their "quality program." No warranty needed. Is that still the case? Did anyone do it?I live in the UK anyone brought their laptop and got the replacement without having to argue?
