Serial number on the airpod itself and on the barging case

I have an AirPods 2 with charging case. So does it mean the serial number is different on the charging case and the AirPods itself right?

I've bought AirPod Pro & the serial number on original packing is different. Airpod serial number I bought AirPods 3 and I checked the serial number of the case and it it worked fine but then I went to check the serial number of each pod put I didn’t seem to find it on each pod I only found the serial number of the case on them

Yes.

For any warranty coverage you need the serial number on the charging case.
