I got a new MacBook Pro running Catalina. My old MacBook Pro was updated to Catalina rendering all my 32 bit applications worthless. Can I reinstall OS 10.14 on my old MacBook Pro without losing everything? if so how??

Yes ... if you made a complete backup of your Mac BEFORE you upgraded it to macOS Catalina. This backup could either be a Time Machine backup or a full disk clone using something like Carbon Copy Cloner.
