Apple TV free for a year

I recently bought a new IPad Pro and saw free Apple TV plus for a year. I was directed to Apple TV plus where my only option is for a free 7 day option. Who do I contact to find out why it says I am entitled but I am not apple to redeem it. I tried on the new device. I tried logging in and out and I tried restarting the unit and then signing in, nothing changed the offer from 7 days. My purchase was the IPad Pro fourth generation

Accept the free year, using the circled button:

(Note: if you decide to cancel the subscription before it ends, your free subscription will end immediately. Set a calendar alarm, if you want to unsubscribe before the subscription starts costing you. Or buy another Apple device, if the free-year offer is still available then.)

Within the app and with an Apple TV+ subscription active, first (1) select Watch Now, then (2) select the Apple TV+ channel:

Here’s what you can view at no cost with the Apple TV+ subscription:

  • And to add, I do see in the last purchase list - the 0 cost item subscription. So, it had been done, and I got the subscription reference - MLY02HK990, I guess you can check it. So, formally subscription should be ok. But, still - if I try to watch any movie, I am forced to pay for it. Hope that clarifies the situation. Thanks, best regards, Mike.

Thanks for your reply! Yes, I have seen that link before and went through the steps. But, unfortunately, that did not work. When I try to watch any film, Apple TV asks to pay. So, there are no free movies at all. First I have thought that only some of them require additional payments, like on Amazon, but what I see, is NON are free on Apple TV. So, that does not looks right.

Movies that say rent or buy are from the iTunes Store and not free.

Your subscription is for Apple TV +

Apple TV + is Apple Original content. It’s a channel found within the Apple TV App. The shows included in your subscription will have the tv+ logo on them - those are free with your subscription

There are other channels and iTunes content in the TV App that requires payment - in other words there is no Apple TV Plus App (this causes confusion) it’s a channel within (or inside) the TV App

It’s free Apple TV Plus not free Apple TV.
