turning off voice
I need help with my new iphone 11 pro max! I must have inadvertently turn on something! How do I turn off audio pronunciation while texting, it's driving me crazy!!

Hmmm, I'm thinking that maybe this - announce messages with Siri -- is what you are talking about. ("... audio pronunciation while texting....) It can be the most awesome thing ever, bit it can also drive one insane when there's a group text that just doesn't stop! :-) The OP did not mention AirPods, so it may well be something else. If so, please post back and we can go from there.
