yes i do... just all of a sudden decided hmmm lets delete the app and reinstall... and it worked... thanks everyone

Knowing that it works with Safari helps! Do you have Google Photos installed on your iPhone? According to this Google Help section, you’ll need Google Photos installed and updated in order to save photos using Chrome on your iPhone.
