Apple Watch not responsive

Hi, my watch has developed an issue with not responding to my touch on the screen to use. I have tried many fixes such as cleaning the screen and my hands, forcing a reset, uninstalling and reinstalling the watch to my phone, checking for updates but nothing seems to fix this continually. This also happens when I am trying to close an app that is open, it will not allow me to swipe to close it or will not pick up that I am touching the cross to close. Can anyone help? Thanks
